When you walk through my doors, I want you to feel inspired! I have many samples in my shop showing off my hand dyed yarn, or highlighting one of my favorite patterns. Whether you come in with an idea in mind, or you would like help choosing that perfect pattern, I am here to help!

Constant Improvement
I strive to live my life as a “forever student”. There is always something more to learn, or to improve on. I will never claim to know everything there is to know about knitting or dyeing yarn, or owning a business. If you see something that you believe could be improved upon, please share that with me, I am always open to constructive criticism.
Be Kind
I want to make one thing very clear- EVERYONE is welcome here. Compass & Crow Studios is a place where all skills levels can feel safe to ask questions, be curious, and learn. I have left yarn shops in tears because the owner or employee had made me feel stupid for not knowing the right terminology, using budget yarn, or not knowing a technique that they felt was common knowledge. Here at CCS, I strive to provide a safe and encouraging learning environment for all.

That’s the whole point, right? This goes back to my earlier comment about being a “forever-student”- learning should be FUN. I want you to enjoy your time in my shop. Whether you’re popping in to grab a skein, or taking a class to learn a new technique, I want you to leave with a smile on your face.
